This customer asked for help with her sitting room directly in the entry of her home. She wanted something that would wow her guests upon entry as well as create a welcoming feeling. After working with her on several other rooms in her home, I knew her style. I came up with the above Design Board to create the perfect complementary space. The light color fabric on the chairs give off a feminine look while the bold detail on the frame employs masculinity. The jute ottoman and natural fiber curtains add a warm "homey" feel to the room. The metal side table and floor lamp incorporate a modern style and the buffalo plaid pillow and blanket pull all the colors together. Adding a large gallery wall will give her plenty of space to show off her family photos to visitors.
