I love mixing styles! In this bathroom I started with this rustic vanity from Signature Hardware. I chose the black granite top to pull the dark colors of the cabinet hardware and went with the rectangle sink for a modern mix. The round mirror adorned with globe sconces add a farmhouse feel while the chrome fixtures keep it modern and up-to-date. The dark grey hexagon floor will be used on the floor with coordinating grout. Sometimes I use lighter or darker grout so that the tile shape stands out but in this instance I wanted it to blend. The same tile but in a lighter grey color will be used on the shower walls. Keeping the pattern to a minimum and using matching grout lets the tile shape stand out on its own. Adding LED Edison bulbs will enhance the farmhouse feel.
